PROJECT SANCTUARY ANNOUNCES THREE NEW BOARD MEMBERS

“We’re excited to expand our board with three new members who will bring diverse expertise and insight to our work,” said Project Sanctuary Founder and CEO Heather Ehle. “We have worked diligently to ensure Project Sanctuary’s board and leadership represents a variety of passionate experts willing to serve our military families. 

The new board members began their term with Project Sanctuary effective May 1, 2021. The three new board members are:

K.C. Groves, Attorney at Law, Ireland Stapleton Pryor & Pascoe, PC

K.C. is a commercial trial attorney with Ireland Stapleton Pryor & Pascoe, PC in Denver, Colorado. K.C. works with local and national companies, business owners, executives, and entrepreneurs to resolve complex business disputes and regulatory matters. “Our military personnel and their families make enormous sacrifices for our country every day. I am honored and excited to serve on the Board of Directors of Project Sanctuary, and to help the organization and its staff in changing the way military families heal.”

Dr. Jasmine Townsend, Ph.D., CTRS, CARSS-II, Clemson University, Associate Professor & Fellow – Robert H. Brooks Sports Science Institute

Dr. Jasmine Townsend is an Associate Professor of Recreational Therapy in the Department of Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management at Clemson University, a Faculty Scholar in the School of Health Research, and a Fellow of the Robert H. Brooks Sports Science Institute. She is also the Director of the Clemson Adaptive Sports and Recreation lab. “Recreational therapy is an invaluable approach for working with military personnel and their families. I am honored to bring my expertise to the Board of Directors for Project Sanctuary, and to support and advocate for the efforts of all the staff in their important work.” 

Patrick Cash, Partner and Co-Founder, BlueStor Networks, Air Force Veteran

Experienced Partner with 20+ years experience in the information technology field including five years of active duty service with the US Air Force. Skilled in Sales, Team Building, Professional Services, Account Management and Direct Sales. “I am honored, humbled and excited to be a part of Project Sanctuary. Looking forward to working with a great team of people that are all driven for an incredible mission.”
