Family
Support
Family Support offers services to all military connected families, including veterans, active-duty, guard/reserves, spouses, children, and caregivers. The Family Support department is led by licensed staff members who are committed to providing excellent, sympathetic, care and respect. In most cases, services are reserved for pre- and post-retreat families and families referred by other veteran serving partners. Family Support will help you explore:
• Short and long-term goals
• Navigate resources
• Make referrals
• Provide crisis support
• Discuss support systems
Families are invited to engage with Family Support to discuss financial resources, counseling referrals, and connection to services offered by collaborating partners.
Pre-retreat support: Family Support works with the therapeutic retreat team to establish pre-retreat support by answering questions and addressing concerns related to the retreat. Upon arrival at the retreat, families feel supported and are eager to begin working on reconnecting with one another, participating in classes, engaging in therapeutic activities that invigorate and rejuvenate the mind, body, and soul. The retreat is the catalyst towards healing and empowers families to connect with Family Support post retreat to maintain their healing journey upon arriving home.
Additional information: To best serve you and your family, Family Support may ask for documentation related to your military service such as
