VETERAN FAMILY
RETREAT #211,
SEPTEMBER 11-16, 2020

COVID HAS AMPLIFIED THESE CHALLENGES FOR BOTH ACTIVE DUTY AND VETERAN FAMILIES
Active duty families are experiencing travel restrictions, delayed moves, and quarantine requirements before and after deployments. Veterans and retired families are experiencing more isolation, anxiety and depression. All families are struggling to connect with in-person resources while navigating new communities after a PCS, homeschool and/or virtual learning for their kids.
Family Support provides year-round services when and where military families need it most:
• Emergency Financial Support
• Caregiver Support Groups
• Veteran Resource Navigation
• Destination Resource Weekends

121% increase in emergency financial support (over FY2019)
The benefits of Project Sanctuary are priceless for military families who dedicate(d) themselves to protecting our freedom. Our families need us even more as we navigate this pandemic.
