Carrie Bair-Norwood

Chief Development Officer

A seasoned fundraising professional, Carrie has more than 20 years of leadership experience, focused on enhancing the overall financial and cultural health of growth and change-oriented organizations. Having held various leadership roles in multiple regions, Carrie has led the creation and implementation of all aspects of development strategy, including marketing, training, solicitation, donation management and stewardship.

In her most recent role as the Senior VP of Development for the YMCA of Greater San Antonio, Carrie was responsible for securing and sustaining more than $8MM in charitable contributions from individual, corporate and foundation donors, United Way and other government funding.

A lifelong passion to serve others, Carrie has seen first-hand the impact deployment can have on a military family having a brother who was a linguist in the Air Force. A native of Colorado Springs, Carrie and her husband Jeff, along with their son Chase, currently live San Antonio, Texas, and enjoy golfing, baseball and the many options for live music in the Texas Hill Country.
