What to do in a government shutdown

Government shutdowns have the potential to negatively impact service members and their families thanks to restricting funds and reducing services for our troops and veterans. Service members and veterans can be impacted differently, so stay informed with official sources regarding exactly how you are affected.

In the meantime, don’t panic. We’re here to help and are ready to serve in whatever way we can. Project Sanctuary always encourages prudent financial planning, however, we also recognize that many military and veteran families may not have the means to stay financially healthy during this shutdown.

First, be proactive. Military.com has an excellent list of what you should and should not do in a shutdown. Read the entire article here >>
