Two New Board Members Elected to Project Sanctuary Board of Directors
Newly Elected Members Bring Business and Legal Acumen
GRANBY, CO (April 26, 2017) – Project Sanctuary proudly announces the elections of Robert “Rob” Steinhoff and Todd Amen to the Project Sanctuary board of directors.
“Project Sanctuary is fortunate to have garnered two board members with Rob’s and Todd’s professional and personal experiences,” said Heather Ehle, founder and CEO of Project Sanctuary. “Their addition to the board of directors comes at a key moment in Project Sanctuary’s history as we continue to expand into more regions of the country to serve the thousands of military families on our wait list.”
Robert H. Steinhoff is an associate at the Denver-based law firm of Brownstein Hyatt Farber Shreck, LLP where his practice focuses in the area of commercial real estate law. He graduated from the University of Houston in 1999 and thereafter served as an Armor officer in the U.S. Army with service in Iraq and Afghanistan. Rob holds a law degree from the University of Colorado School of Law and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Florida.
Prior to attending law school, Rob worked in business management for two Fortune 500 companies and founded his own real estate firm. He has long worked to influence employers to increase hiring of veterans in the civilian workforce, and is passionate about veterans’ legal issues. Rob regularly donates his time to organizations working on behalf of veterans and active duty service members to solve their legal problems.
“My past experience leading soldiers during two combat tours provides me with firsthand knowledge of the needs of veterans and their families and a personal passion to help,” he said. “I am honored to be able to contribute in a meaningful way to an organization that clearly places veterans and their families at the center of everything that they do.”
Todd Amen is the founder, president and CEO of ATBS. ATBS is the largest professional services company offering business management, accounting and tax services to independent contractors. Prior to ATBS, Todd was co-president of Trans-Western Express, LTD. (TWX), a family-owned truck line operating in the United States and Canada.
In addition to his work with ATBS, Todd is a recognized speaker and leader in transportation and finance. He is a graduate of Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in finance and marketing. Todd has served on the boards of many nonprofit organizations, helping them to further their worthy causes.
“I have always tried to give back in meaningful ways for all the blessings I’ve received in my life,” said Todd. “Being elected to the Project Sanctuary board of directors allows me to serve those who have sacrificed so much. I can’t think of a better place or way to give back.”
